    Silence is the gift of sanctuary. An opportunity to escape to our private inner world where we can close off the stream of information & noise that clutters our outer world & filters into our mind.

    Silence is good company. It offers solace, clarity & a greater awareness of both the enormity & insignificance of our being.

    Even when you are with another, a friend or a loved one, remind yourself that it is not necessary to fill the space between you with chatter or musings. Paradoxically, this is quite often when we can feel most connected to them.

    I invite you to take refuge in silence, wherever you can find a moment for it this week. It is often then that our heart speaks the loudest. I wonder what you will hear…
