Imagine a relaxing weekend away with like-minded women sipping coffee & reconnecting with your creativity!
Set in an adorable cottage in the lush Sunshine Coast hinterland, the ‘Mama Almighty’ creative retreat provides a safe haven away from the sometimes overwhelming demands of motherhood; a physical & emotional space for you to explore your creative side, nourish your inner crafter & spend some time in nature (sans babies!).
The weekend features a full day hands-on facilitated doll-making workshop. All materials will be provided, however participants are invited to bring objects or remnants of special significance to incorporate into their doll.
This is not a navel gazing, soul-baring kind of retreat. However the process of creating, developing, and reflecting on meanings held within the doll you create can be immensely therapeutic & cathartic. You might be surprised at what you discover about yourself through your doll & of course you are invited to share & discuss any insights with each other if you wish.
The next retreat will be held in February 2018 (dates yet to be confirmed). Further information regarding cost (accommodation & meals included) & transport from Brisbane for those who require it will be provided closer to this time. Limited places are available (maximum of 10 participants per retreat).
If you would like to know more or discuss holding a private retreat for your friendship circle or mother’s group, please get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
